Health and safety are paramount.

We are focused on the safety of our team members, all those participating in the Mass Casualty Commission, and the public.

All public health protocols are being followed.

Our team members are adhering to all public health guidelines, including physical distancing, mask-wearing, frequent handwashing and cleaning, and conducting virtual meetings whenever possible, or when recommended by public health.

Planning for the COVID-19 impact.

COVID-19 has an impact on the inquiry process and how the Commission conducts its work, but we are planning for that impact. Public health protocols and virtual tools are integral elements to adapting a public inquiry to a pandemic, and we are building these into our processes.

We will continue to provide updates.

We will be following all public health protocols, holding virtual meetings whenever possible, and providing virtual access to all of the Commission proceedings by webcast, but we will continue to build on our COVID-19 planning in the coming weeks and months. We will keep you informed as our plans evolve.
