August 30, 2021
Starting this week, people living in the communities in closest proximity to the April 2020 mass casualty will receive a postcard-sized overview of the Commission in the mail (see download available below).
We are sending this card to ensure everyone in the community knows about the Commission, where to find more information, and how to get in touch with us with questions or information.
Many of the issues the Commission is examining connect to questions of what happened and to the theme of community safety. We want to make sure people know how to participate. The input from the community will be important in shaping our findings and recommendations. To ensure community members are aware of our ongoing work and the opportunities to take part, the Commission is using different methods of communications to reach out and generate awareness. This includes direct mail, as well as ads in local newspapers, on social media, and upcoming public open houses.
We want to thank community members for their interest and questions to date. If you have feedback on how you have been receiving information from the Commission, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing Info@MassCasualtyCommission.ca or calling 902-407-7532 or 1-833-635-2501 (toll free). You can also stay up to date via our website, Facebook and Twitter feeds, and to get in touch if you would like to learn more.
