February 18, 2022
Throughout the course of the public proceedings which are being held in Halifax, there will be a Community Viewing Site located in Truro.
The purpose for the Community Viewing Site is to provide an accessible space for members of the community to watch the live webcast of the proceedings. On-site there will be mental health supports, Commission staff and security.
In order to attend the Community Viewing Site, community members will be required to register individually online in advance and provide proof of vaccination based on the Province’s health protocols. Mask and proof of vaccination requirements will remain in place as outlined by the Province’s re-opening plan. We will continue to monitor the guidelines set by the Province, and will provide updates should these requirements change. The link to register online to attend the Community Viewing Site can be found here. Please note, you will need to register individually as each person will be given a unique QR code (a digital barcode) for their own use.
More information regarding the public proceedings can be found here.
