This update includes information about documents which have been added to the Commission website.

Two orders have been issued to mark a small number of additional exhibits outside of public proceedings. Both orders are available in the Documents section of our website, and the four exhibits are available in our Source Materials library. You can access these documents by filtering your search using keywords of your choosing, or by searching for the COMM numbers below:

  • COMM0065740 – Letter from Michael Scott
  • COMM0065741 – Email from Costa Dimopoulos
  • COMM0065763 – Commission Transcript of recorded interview of Sgt. Robert Lewis
  • COMM0065766 – Drawing of CICCP – Great Village Fire Hall – Sgt. Robert Lewis interview

There is an additional Participant submission from Ms. Tara Long posted to our website in response to the new exhibits, as well as written responses to questions posed during our Small Group Sessions from Ms. Tammy Oliver-McCurdie. The Commission held Small Group Sessions and other Participant and Community Consultations as part of the final phase of our work to hear about the experiences of individuals and families during and after the mass casualty and to discuss their recommendations for the final report.

We will continue to provide updates as we make progress in preparing our final report. You can sign up to receive these updates by visiting the home page of our website. Please continue to stay engaged. We thank everyone for their continued commitment and interest in the work of the Commission.

Sincerely,

The Mass Casualty Commission

Hon. J. Michael MacDonald, Chair

Leanne J. Fitch (Ret. Police Chief, M.O.M.)
