November 2, 2021
The Mass Casualty Commission is hosting two public Open Houses this month.
We want to thank members of the community who attended our Open Houses in September, and those who expressed interest in additional events. We look forward to sharing information about our work, answering any questions, and connecting with community members. Remember, as per Nova Scotia's COVID-19 Protocols, proof of full vaccination will be required.
This month’s Open Houses will follow the same format and provide the same information as previous events. They will be informal, drop-in style with no formal presentations. You are welcome to come any time during the Open House. The setup of the space will include Commission team members at tables sharing information about different aspects of our work and answering questions about the inquiry process. There will be opportunities to gather printed information and share feedback and input as well. The information being shared is the same as previous Open Houses, and will be the same for both upcoming locations, so we encourage you to attend the one that works best for you.

There will be mental health and wellness resources on site at both locations and a member of our Mental Health Team will be available to provide support and information during each Open House.
If you are unable to attend the Open Houses, you can download the information we are sharing. To stay up to date on our work and upcoming events, follow us on Facebook and Twitter, or email us at info@MassCasualtyCommission.ca to sign up for regular updates. These will not be the only opportunities to engage with the Commission. There will be more public activities in the future. We hope to see you there.
As always, if you have information that you think the Commission should know, contact us and we will connect you with one of our team members. There truly is no fact too small. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions about the public Open Houses or the work of the Commission in general by emailing Info@MassCasualtyCommission.ca or calling 902-407-7532 (local) or 1-833-635-2501 (toll free). Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest and has asked questions to date.
